Job Description

Educational Qualifications:

•  Chartered Accountant from 2009/ 2010 batch.
•  Must have completed articleship and GMCS
•  Must have a CA membership number

Experience required:

• Must have 1-2 years of experience in corporate tax/ transaction taxation/ transaction advisory/ corporate restructuring. OR 3 years of Statutory audit experience in a CA firm.
• Must have a stable career.

Skills/ Knowledge required:

•  Must have good knowledge in area of taxation, company law matters, commercial negotiations and various stages of a transactions.
•  Strong academic background
•  Reasonably good technical ability
•  Logical reasoning
•  Good communication skills
•  Ability to quickly learn
•  MS PowerPoint

Associate - M&A (Corporate Restructuring)

Responsibility : The incumbent will be working in the Mergers & Acquisition practice of BMR Advisors and will be responsible for supporting seniors in completing time bound deliverables in M&A corporate/ business restructuring related services and associated tax & regulatory advisory. Some of the main priorities of the job holder will be:

•  Implements continuous improvements in working approach
•  Focus on learning such as: identifying client issues, making of presentation, developing a thought process in regulatory work, identifying the relevant aspects of technical law in related areas
•  Carrying out technical research required for delivering on the job
•  Assisting in advising on basic technical/ advisory issues
•  Application and solution based approach to problem solving
•  Identifies key issues, evaluates solutions, and concludes
