SapnaSolutions is seeking a creative, collaborative and passionate JavaScript Developer to be the executing force in building a user interface for our web 2.0 consumer websites applications that will delight users.
If you are someone who want to be told what to do or what to build-and be a programming robot-then this job is not for you. We need you to immediately come on-board with your thinking hat charged, proactive problem-solving skills, and sleeves rolled up to produce rock-solid, hand-coded CSS/XHTML and JavaScript.
We need someone who can:
- Participate in developing advanced JavaScript applications to personalize web pages
- Collaborate with product and dev team to establish functionality and design specs
- Develop templates and documentation for rapid customization and integration
- Provide feedback, analysis, testing and debugging
You should ideally have:
- 2 years software development experience including extensive JavaScript in the last 12 months
- A stickler about cross browser development and testing; and already know the advantages and disadvantages of Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome.
- AJAX development
- Use of source control platforms
- JavaScript unit testing
- An opinion about coding semantic XHTML and writing clean, minimal code.
- Curious about the inter working of jQuery (you truly comprehend the ins and outs of jQuery and don’t just “dabble” in it) or similar JavaScript library; and comfortable hand-coding and debugging common JavaScript functions
