Job Description
- Create, execute and drive strategic vision of the team
- Develop, mentor and manage performance of technical consultants and ensure they are properly trained/certified
- Create and manage objectives and long term goals for the team that are aligned with global client service operations and company objectives
- Manage resource forecasting and allocation; coordinate allocation of resources with other regions
- Review and validate technical solutions devised for projects and ensure they are properly documented
- Engage with clients as needed to understand complex technical problems, evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies, and deliver superior technical solutions to clients
- Act as escalation point for teams to provide guidance, direction and further escalation if necessary
- Facilitate smooth handover of clients to Account Services upon go-live
- Recruit high quality talent into the team to meet growth targets
- Provide assistance to Sales in technical discussions with prospects
- Review and validate hardware sizing estimates for projects
- Develop, enforce and maintain best practices and operational policies
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience as a technical software consultant delivering technical projects
- 3+ years experience in leadership and management of teams as well as management of projects including cost control, on-time delivery, and client expectation management
- Experience in deployment of SCM, ERP or CRM systems is mandatory
- Must have an excellent understanding of the software development and product mana
The client services team is focused on successful implementation of our client’s applications at their client’s sites. Technical Director of Client Services is responsible for providing technical leadership to the client services team and technical guidance to the rest of the organization. He is also responsible for managing the day to day activities of the team, resource planning, managing client escalations, solving complex technical problems, supporting technical sales meetings, developing project plans and coordinating resource allocation across regions .
